Are NightHawk Products under warranties?
We want our customers to enjoy using our products and hope to see our gear used to its full potential. We offer a 90-day warranty on all LED lights and a six-month warranty on all NightHawk gear. Please be aware that all warranties are excluded for any of the following:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Products that have been handled against their intended use, involved in accidents, or defaced;
- User-created damages like rips, tears, burns, or holes;
- Lost, stolen or discarded product.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Please include the following within your email to support@nighthawkprogear.com:
1. Product information
- Product name, color, and size
- Approximate date of purchase (2022, Spring of 2022, etc)
2. Personal information:
- Name (First and Last)
- Full Shipping Address (Including City, State/Province, Zip)
- Phone and email address
3. Briefly description of warranty issue:
- Buckles do not work, seam delimitation, LED light malfunctioning, etc.
- Attach an appropriate image of the issue as well as an image of the item laid out flat
How long will it take before my claim is initiated?
Please allow up to 10 business days for response times for warranty claims.
FAQs
Are the lights on the lighted gaiters detachable?
Yes! The lights can be detached from the gaiters for battery recharging or when the gaiters need to be cleaned.
Are the lights on the lighted gaiters rechargeable?
Yes, the lights are rechargeable. Each light is powered by a 3.7 V / 200 MAH lithium battery. Simply plug the light into an adopter with a USB port and charge it via a wall electrical outlet.
How do I charge the lights from my lighted gaiters?

How long does the battery in my gaiter light last?
There are three modes for three different light intensities: high, medium, and low. When the battery is fully charged, the continuous run times of the battery for high, medium, and low modes are approximately 1.5 hours, 3 hours, and 6-8 hours, respectively.
What kind of lights are the gaiter lights and how bright are they?
Each light is made with four surface-mount light emitted diodes (LEDs) illuminating at a maximum of 150 lumens in brightness.
Are the gaiter lights waterproof?
The gaiter lights are water resistant and NOT waterproof. Do NOT submerge the gaiter lights in water or other liquid contents. Detach the lights from gaiters before hand washing your NightHawk gaiters in order to keep water from getting into the light housing.
What are the gaiters made of?
The Trailblazer Gaiters are made of two fabric materials. The upper shell is made with 210 TEX polyester ripstop and the lower shell is made of 600 Denier Oxford fabric.
The Cohutta Gaiters are made of 600 Denier Oxford fabric.
The Sidewinder Snake Gaiters is made with an outer 600 Denier Oxford and an inner stab-resistant fabric with Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber reinforced composite. Level 5 stab-resistant coefficient and level 4 area density in EN 388 safety standards.
Can my NightHawk gaiters be machine washed and dried?
Hand washing and air drying all NightHawk gaiters are recommended for maximum performance. Before hand washing the gaiters, make sure the lights are detached. Gently scrub the surface with a mixture of laundry detergent and water, rinse with warm water and then hang the gaiters up to air dry. Do not use bleach. Make sure the gaiters are completely dry before storing them away.
