Tested with live venomous snakes, these gaiters are made without any hard plastic insert. Constructed of an outer 600 Denier Oxford layer and an inner specialized stab-proof fabric, they are foldable and lightweight. Why pay more money for snake gaiters that are stiff or don’t even have lights?
